Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association is a statewide nonprofit dedicated to creating a competitive pathway for aspiring young pickleballers, adaptive programs for Special Olympians, and empowering schools, churches, civic groups, and communities to embrace the benefits of youth pickleball.
This sanctioning body for competitive youth pickleball has its roots in Pickleball Kids USA, Tennessee’s first and largest junior pickleball organization, founded by Randall Bedwell, during the pandemic.
Tennessee Junior Pickleball Association, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, received a grant from the Office of Strategic Initiatives, Tennessee Department of Health, to create apickleball program that focuses on improving long-term outcomes in physical health, mental health, and substance misuse.
Our task is to develop fun and sustainable youth pickleball programs across the state that incorporates various skills to empower youth to not only learn how to play pickleball but to also embrace a healthy lifestyle.
